Ministries

Ministry for Jesus may be defined as seeing needs and meeting them in His name.  When we as Christians seek to meet people in their moment of need and help them, God gives us an opportunity to speak to them about the hope we have found in Jesus.  Whether we are providing food to the hungry, or giving a ride to someone without a car, or visiting in a hospital, or speaking on the phone to a friend, or answering a question about God, if we do this with love and wth a view to pointing people to Jesus, we are ministering for Him.

Every opportunity to help someone should be seen as an opportunity to share the love of Jesus.  And when we join together with other believers in a local church for worship and fellowship, we find even more chances to minister for the Lord.  At Barcroft, the goal of all our ministries is to proclaim Jesus to the nations, and we do this in teams.  The Bible says that we should, "stimulate one another to love and good deeds," and this means teamwork.  Our ministry goals are as follows:

1. Everybody on a Ministry Team.

2. Every Team trained by a Coach.

3. Every Team FIT for Ministry: (F) focused on Jesus; (I) Improving in Excellence; and (T) Transformed by the Holy Spirit.
